We are happy to help you get Consentl running. Most answers are in the setup guides; for everything else, write to us. We answer by e-mail, in English, on business days.
Start with the guides
Each guide covers installing, connecting your site, checking that it works and the platform's known limitations.
Quick checks before you write
- Open your site in a private window, so an earlier choice does not hide the banner.
- View the page source: the Consentl loader should be the first script in <head>.
- Clear your page cache and the cache of any optimisation plugin. Changes in the dashboard can take about five minutes to reach your site.
- In the browser console, Consentl.get() shows the current choices and Consentl.region() the rule applied to you.
E-mail us
Write to [email protected]. It helps if you include:
- the address of your website or store,
- your platform (WordPress, Shopware, PrestaShop, Magento or another) and the plugin version,
- what you expected, what happened, and the steps to see it.
Never send passwords or API tokens. Your site key (sk_…) is public and can be shared.
We can help you set up and use Consentl, but we cannot give legal advice. For questions about what the law requires of your site, please ask a lawyer or your data protection authority.

Reporting a security issue
If you believe you have found a security vulnerability in Consentl, please write to us before disclosing it publicly, with “Security” in the subject: [email protected]
Visitors of a website that uses Consentl
If you want to change your cookie choices on a website, use its “Cookie settings” link. For requests about your personal data on that website, contact the website's owner: they decide how your data is used, and Consentl helps them answer.
